The project is the construction of a new two-story terminal building and two-story concourse facility, which replaced the old City of Pensacola airport. This project required extreme coordination to keep the existing airport open while building around the existing terminal, with demolition occurring in different phases as the construction progressed. The project was completed 3 months ahead of schedule.
