MC – 7 is a combination hurricane repair and design build renovation project at NAS, Pensacola. It includes the repair and reconstruction of buildings 680, 607, and the NOMI library.

Prior to hurricane Ivan, building 680 consisted of administrative space and an abandoned cold storage facility that was used in World War II. During Ivan, the building suffered both flooding and wind damage. As part of the repair process of this building, Naval Facilities decided to convert the cold storage area into useable office space. This project includes significant mold and asbestos remediation, as well as selective demolition. The building has received a complete new mechanical, electrical and fire protection services as well as interior finishes and structural upgrades. This building is considered historically significant to NAS Pensacola and must be repaired / reconstructed according to their stringent requirements.

Building 607 is the Exchange building. This work consists of a complete new mechanical system and interior upgrade. Mold remediation and abatement was included in this work

The NOMI library building is an interior remodel that includes the removal of existing finishes and the preparation of the building for a new tenant.
