This facility provides Navy and Marine pilots both classroom and training space for surviving underwater crashes. A major pool was constructed along with the necessary apparatus to simulate helicopter and fixed wing crashes. The work required intensive mechanical ventilating work, chlorine resistant finishes, and pilot changing and showering areas.
