This construction is an award winning design that encompasses both an activity center and a fine arts performing arts theater for the University of North Florida. It is actually built on a lake which had to be drained in order to construct the facility. The theater consists of a stage which can rotate 180 degrees. The theater can seat 500 individuals. The remaining area is for student activities, including food service, gathering areas, and an exterior wood deck under the sloped glazing.
