NAS Pensacola Building 1500

Under a competitive best value approach, Greenhut was selected by the Navy to design, structurally rehabilitate, and renovate the interior of the existing 70,000 sf historic building and convert it to functional office space including a high-end audio-video equipped conference space for the command headquarters at NAS Pensacola. The existing building was an archaeologically and historically sensitive space that is eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. The project qualified for LEED Silver.

In addition to the interior renovation of the main building, a mechanical building, additional parking lots, and stormwater structures were constructed.

"Greenhut was cooperative and responsive to Government requested changes and provided fair and reasonable cost proposals. They are an established local business and were able to assemble a talented team of experienced, reliable subcontractors that work well together. The Greenhut organization was very professional and a valued team member."
