Hangar Bay One
This addition to the National Aviation Museum at NAS, Pensacola, Florida was entirely funded by private donations. “Hangar Bay One” as it is called, is a 55,000 sf, 53 ft high structure with a 210 ft horizontal span. This building was designed to suspend historically significant aircraft from its metal trusses as well as provide static displays on the floor. Fully air-conditioned for comfort and humidity control, this monumental addition will receive over one million visitors annually.
